“小爱杯”人工智能国际创业大赛硅谷赛区成功举行

当前，以计算机算法、深度学习为特征的人工智能发展进入新的阶段，智能化成为全球技术和产业发展的新方向。

美国西部时间2019年6月16日（周日）下午，由中华人民共和国科学技术部火炬高技术产业开发中心指导、北京小米智能科技有限公司冠名、中国湖北省科学技术厅主办、中国湖北省创业投资引导基金管理中心、光谷创业咖啡承办，硅谷中国能源协会协办的2019“小爱杯”人工智能国际创业大赛硅谷赛区在santa clara coworking space会议厅拉开帷幕。10个硅谷地区优秀人工智能项目进入此次复赛竞逐唯一决赛名额。

本次硅谷赛区参赛项目，涉及人工智能机器人、大数据应用与云平台服务、智能图像识别、智能语音控制等人工智能领域。最终，来自Deck的Roybi Robot项目获得第一名，成功晋级武汉决赛。此外，Forcz项目、Artivive项目获得2019“小爱杯”人工国际创业大赛硅谷赛区优秀团队。

2019“小爱杯”人工智能国际创业大赛共设十大分赛区：硅谷、新加坡、香港、东京、北京、上海、深圳、成都、西安、武汉，每个赛区第一名参加6月27日在武汉光谷举行的AI巅峰对决，获胜项目将有机会参与小米集团高层座谈以及与小米人工智能平台进行后期深入合作，而小米IOT平台已连接IOT设备数达1.7亿台，同比增长70%，已成为全球最大的消费类物联网公司。

据悉，2019“小爱杯”人工智能国际创业大赛依托小米公司国际国内影响力，将吸引600个以上人工智能相关领域优质创新创业项目报名参赛，影响超过10000名创新创业人才，国内外100家以上知名媒体宣传报道。

Roybi Robot

一个AI驱动的教育伴侣机器人，目前目标是3-7岁的儿童，专注于语言学习。Roybi提供了独特的量身定制的教学体验，利用机器学习技术根据孩子的能力提供内容。Roybi与孩子以及他们的导师(包括老师、父母和祖父母)进行交互。

Forcz

开发高精度运动跟踪解决方案，增强3D/VR/AR沉浸式体验。40%的VR用户抱怨沉浸体验差。造成这一问题的主要原因是跟踪精度低。forz结合了专有的硬件和软件解决方案，使用地球自转运动来消除漂移噪声。其结果是10倍的高精度运动跟踪，极大地增强了身临其境的体验，为3D/AV/AR在2K, 4K和8K像素的高分辨率。

Artivive

Artivive正在为世界各地的艺术家创造一种全新的媒介:增强现实。他们的AR平台/app目前被三大洲的博物馆使用。通过大型安装基础的内置网络效果，Artivive将成为21世纪艺术家的基础(无论是专业的还是休闲的)，就像画布和画笔一样。

Judge Info: Principal manager of innovation and partnerships of GE Appliances, a Haier Company. Senior lead in strategic partnerships and new business creations as well as applying emerging technologies to solve consumer and business challenges.

Company Info: GE Appliances, a Haier company, provides innovative home appliances, appliance parts, and appliance services to builders, remodelers, and building distributors since 1907.

Lyn Wan

Judge Info: Director of NewDo Venture, leveraging her experience in Michigan working with cross-border investments and ventures.

Company Info: NewDo is a micro VC firm focused on early stage venture and seed stage investment and has an active profile of over 40 growing businesses in technology and healthcare sectors. NewDo also provides consulting services and co-working resources to budding companies.

Mike Kehoe

Judge Info: VP of business operations at OnePiece Work. Previously working as a Deloitte consultant then founding his own online coding class company, Mike Kehoe joined OnePiece Work to lead the marketing, sales, and business development teams in SF Bay Area.

Company Info: OnePiece is a co-working space and cross-border incubator with locations in various startup ecosystems in the world including Santa Monica, Seattle, and multiple offices across Silicon Valley. OnePiece provides both office services as well as strategic consulting to startups and established enterprises.

Shuo Chen

Judge Info: CEO of Shinect, a Silicon Valley non-profit and a University of California Berkeley lecturer on entreprenurship and technology. She is also a general partner at Agile VC.

Company Info: Shinect is an entrepreneurial club started in Silicon Valley where people get together to share, connect, and inspire each other along their entrepreneurial paths. Agile VC is a Silicon Valley –based early stage investor focused on emerging technologies and cross-border opportunities

Steven Li

Judge Info: General Partner at TSVC, founder of Sumilux Tech; Former VP at Amazon, Cisco, WebEx

Company Info: TSVC is founded in 2010, formerly TEEC Angel Fund, TSVC is the first early-stage deep tech-focused venture capital firm founded by Tsinghua alumni in Silicon Valley (Los Altos, CA).
